SKIING Kreischberg is located in the Mur valley and is beloved amidst skiers and snowboarders. Its’ excellently prepared, dynamic pistes satisfy the needs of both conventional and extreme skiers and boarders. Kreischberg is the ideal family skiing location where small and big can ski together on the wide blue slopes and there is a lot of fun for the children including Dinopark, forest trails marked with famous fairytale figures, snowtunnel, magic carpet and a sledgtrack with a length of over 2 kilometers.
The mountain is also a snowboarders paradise – it hosts the annual Hungarian Snowboard Championship. The wide slopes, the snowpark and the natural halfpipe are all there for the freeriders. Kreischberg is also great for the advanced and pro skiers. Great red and black slopes and a mogul can be found alongside the chairlifts and T-bars going to the Rosenkrantz summit (2118 m). And there are also great opportunities for off-piste skiing in the forests and hillside near the slopes.
